On your phone, tap the download button. Your browser may say "this file may be harmful" — that is the standard warning for every APK downloaded outside the Play Store. Our file is signed and verified.
Pull down the notification shade and tap the finished download, or open your Files app → Downloads → app-release.apk.
Android will ask permission for your browser (or Files app) to install apps. Tap Settings → toggle Allow from this source → press back → tap Install.
The install takes a few seconds. When it finishes, tap Open — Quran Anywhere is on your home screen like any other app.
On first open, Quran Anywhere asks for your location (or city) to calculate prayer times. Choose your city — and you are done. Welcome. 🌙
Yes. Every APK on this site is built from the official source and signed with the developer's private release key. The signature is verified before each release. Never download Quran Anywhere from third-party mirror sites — this page is the only official source.
The Play Store charges a one-time $25 developer fee and the App Store $99/year. To keep Quran Anywhere completely free for everyone, we distribute the app directly here. Sideloading is an official, fully supported Android feature.
Almost certainly. The site detects your phone's CPU and offers the exact build; if detection is not possible, the universal build installs on every Android phone from Android 5.0 upward.
The mushaf (all 114 surahs) and adhkar work fully offline. Audio recitation streams over the internet, and prayer times use your location once to calculate the schedule.
When a new version is released, come back to this page, download the new APK and install it — it updates over the old version and keeps all your settings and bookmarks. Your phone will not ask for the "unknown apps" permission again.
Your phone may be missing the right architecture — download the universal build from the download page instead of a device-specific one.
The download was interrupted. Delete the file, and download again — make sure you have stable Wi-Fi and at least 100 MB free space.
If Google Play Protect shows a warning, tap More details → Install anyway. Play Protect flags all sideloaded apps by default, even known-good ones.
